It's definitely called a dreidel. The proof is a boy called Jack Singer I was sitting next to today on a bus in the lower Galilee. We were sitting together on the back seat. I went on about a sevivon, and he said "I know what it is in english, it's a DREIDEL".This was after our tour guide, Yitzchak Tor, made dreidels out of acorns in the middle of a forest and got all the kids enchanted as they actually spun, very well. So, there are two miracles here-the state of Israel with its settlements and forests, and spinning acorn dreidels.Jack Singer is one cute five year old.
